If we have kidney problems, common side effects of taking Ozempic like diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting may cause a loss of fluids (dehydration) from our body, which may cause kidney problems to get worse. We must drink fluids to help reduce our chance of dehydration.
- Serious allergic reactions:
Taking Ozempic regularly may cause symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including swelling of the face, lips tongue, or throat; thereby causing problems in breathing or swallowing; severe skin rash or itching; fainting or feeling dizzy; or a very rapid heartbeat.
- Gallbladder problems.
Regular usage of Ozempic may result in gallbladder problems. If we get symptoms which may include pain in the upper stomach (abdomen), fever, yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), or clay-colored stools.
How to improve metabolism, maintain a preferable blood sugar level, keep our body weight in the normal and healthy range and thereby prevent or cure life-threatening health conditions?
- Though a 6-week plan of Ozempic for weight loss is effective in the short term, considering its side effects it is not advisable to resort to prolonged use of this medicine as a permanent solution. The only way we can lead a healthy life is by eating a healthy diet, following regular physical exercise, and practicing yoga and pranayama. Also, we must avoid eating red meat and fried foods, foods and drinks with added sugar, packaged foods, eatables, juices, and junk foods like burgers, pizza, pasta, hot dogs, noodles, etc. Avoid eating bread made out of all-purpose flour choose whole-grain flour or flour made out of millets instead. Refrain from following a sedentary lifestyle. Use stairs instead of elevators. As much as possible avoid short-distance travel in vehicles and walk or use cycles instead. Avoid sitting for hours together, take a walk at least for 10 minutes after every hour, and last but not least; stroll for 15 minutes after dinner, and take a good night’s sleep.
A diet plan to follow to improve digestion and keep weight in check:
It is a proven and recommended diet plan to follow to effectively improve digestion, improve insulin sensitivity, and hence keep weight in check. What is generally recommended is that food that is naturally obtained only from trees and plants, low in carbohydrates, and high in proteins and vitamins are considered to be healthy and effective. As much as possible one should take the following food items, the diet plan and follow other suggestions as listed below;
- Fruits and Salad – For breakfast, one can eat 3 to 4 types of seasonal and regional fresh fruits. Fruits can be eaten in a quantity which should be 10 times the body weight in kg. The final product should be in grams. Meaning if your body weight is 70Kg you should consume a minimum 700g of fruits for breakfast.
- Soaked Dry Fruits, Sprouts, and Oats – Eating soaked dry fruits, sprouts, or oats could be an option for eating fruits and salads for breakfast. Eating sprouts improves digestion and the level of good cholesterol. Eating oats improves cholesterol levels, heart disease, and weight loss. Oats are a good source of vitamins, fibers, minerals, and antioxidants. And dry fruits improve haemoglobin levels, bone health, and weight loss.
- Coconut Water, Green Tea, or Hunza Tea – Drinking Coconut water, green tea, or Hunza tea between meals could be the best choice to reduce weight and flush out toxins.
- Fruits, fruit juices (with pulp) & Vegetables, and leafy green vegetables – Fruits, fruit juices, and vegetables are good sources of fiber, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. They significantly help reduce weight and improve heart health.
